| Development and New Technique for High Efficiency Continuous Casting |

Abstract The key new techniques for continuous casting are hydraulic non-sinusoidal oscillator, mold on-line width control, EMBR, dynamic soft reduction, dynamic control for secondary cooling. The developing status of high efficiency continuous casting was analyzed in this article. The new techniques for continuous casting were introduced, as well as their applications in steel production. High efficiency continuous casting progress and the steel industry development were accelerated by widely applied of new techniques.
