Abstract The effect of pressure and arcs voltage on marked effect of spray marking machine was studied. The results indicate that the smaller the pressure is, more blurred the words are, and the effect is worse. The largest pressure should be used while spraying the words; the smaller the Arcs voltage is, more clearly the words are; but if the voltage is too small, words will not be continuous and arcs are not normal. Therefore we should use the smallest value of arcs voltage in the case of ensuring the continuous and normal arcs, the effect is the best when arcs voltage is 10-15V. The arc voltage has little effect on ambiguity of words.
