Abstract Hangang three steelmaking billet production ML08AL immersion type nozzle blocking was studied, analyzes the formation mechanism of the continuous casting process under the influence factors of nozzle blocking was analyzed, and improving protection of steel cast level and inclusions of plug sex reassignment processing was put forward. Measures for blowing argon bar can effectively prevent nozzle blocking, solve the problem of water mouth, stabilize production rhythm, and have achieved good economic benefits.
