Abstract Aiming at Hangang No.3 steelmaking eight machine eight flow billet caster tundish, through the establishment of numerical model, the flow field rule of molten steel in tundish rule was researched under the condition of setting slag wall. And the effect on the flow field of molten steel of slag and wall by RTD curve was also analyzed. Good experiences have already been accumulated for accumulating billet tundish flow field of molten steel.
