Abstract The present continuous casting machines (CCMs) possessing multi-point straightening technique and longer straightening length cannot satisfy the premise term that straightening length must be far shorter than basic arc radius. The Concast straightening curve cannot be used for continuous straightening reconstruction of these CCMs. The Taylor series equations are exerted to calculate continuous straightening curve in item design of the reformative CCM. The puzzles of using Concast equation are avoided and coninuous straightening is achieved.
