Research on improving the free-opening rate of 75 t ladle |

Abstract The effect of residence time of molten steel in ladle, tapping temperature, composition of stuffing sand, etc., on free-opening rate of a 75 t ladle for the steelmaking process of 06Cr19Ni10 stainless steel is statistically analyzed. Also, the corresponding improvement measures are put forward. The result shows that the ladle annual free-opening rate can be stabilized at more than 99.2%.
