evelopment of High-Strength Weather-Resisting Steel SPA-H byCold Rolling Process
As the thin and narrow specifications (1.5-1.6) mm×(940-1 400) mm SPA-H high-strength weathering steel cannot be produced by the 2 160 mm hot rolling mill of Shougang Qiangang, in order to retain strategic customers, Shougang developed cold-rolled process to manufacture those productions in Beijing Shougang Cold Rolling Co.,Ltd. The production methods and processes of developing SPA-H high-strength weather-resisting steel were introduced. Firstly, the hot strips go through pickling line and tandem cold mill (PLTCM), and the un-annealed cold strips are gained; Secondly, the un-annealed cold strips turn into cold rolled strips by continuous annealing line (CAL), then the finished product is got. The cold annealed SPA-H high-strength weather-resisting steel was produced successfully by the process optimization of pickling, rolling, alkaline cleaning, annealing and tempering. The product has high strength and good extension, and the steel-made container can fully meet the requirement of custom, so the same assortment hot rolled coil strip can be replaced by it.

Discussion on Deformation of Rectangular Section Steel Beam
To study the cross-section stress distribution of the rectangular section steel beam under the action of pure bending based on the bending test, the cross-section stress distribution is tested by the electronic test method. The research indicates that the cross section of the rectangular section steel beam under the action of pure bending appears to be trapezoidal, this is because under the concave strained condition, the longitudinal fibers above the neutral surface suffer pressure stress, the longitudinal sections of the above fibers are shortened while the latitudinal ones widens, as the height-h of the above fiber from the neutral one develops, however, for the below fibers it’s longitudinal sections are extended while the latitudinal ones are shortened, and therefore the original geometry of neutral section is replaced by the physical one.

Effects of Rolling Process on the Properties of SM490YB
This article described the melting ways and rolling process of H-beam SM490YB. The effection of different reason on the elongation was researched. The results indicated that the serious zone structure and the grain size was the main reason to lead to the instable property. The property of SM490YB can be improved by optimizing the rolling process. At the same time, the percentage of the alloy can be reduced to reduce the cost of the product.

Lightweight Research of Heavy Truck Carriage Plate
Using the finite element software, ANSYS, the carriage stress bearing steady and dynamic loading was analyzed. According to the result, a scheme to make the carriage’s strength higher and lighter has been put forward. The stress’ intensity and distribution of the new scheme were analyzed. The result shows that the new carriage has safer and higher intensity than the original one; the new carriage is greater in strength and lower in material cost, and prospects for social benefits are good.

Research of Submarine Pipeline Full-Scale Plastic Bending Test
Along with the importance of the ocean petroleum, in order to imitate submarine pipeline’s work condition of reeling and laying, the full-scale plastic bending experiment was requested. A three-point bending equipment designed by ourselves was introduced. The bending test with the advance set bending curvature was carried out, and submarine pipeline’s work condition was imitated. The function and credibility of the method were verified by concretely experiment. It is worth communicating and expanding in the industry.

Effect of Heat Treatment on Dimensional Changes of Seamless Steel Pipe
Compared to the rolled state, all the parameters of the hot rolling seamless steel pipe changed after quenching and tempering operation, which made the subsequent processing unable to operate normally meet the delivery technical conditions. Track and measure different specifications of the steel pipes in the mill, the results show that, for different dimensions of steel pipe, the dimensional changes with heat treatment process show a different degree of influence. The reasonable control of the rolling tolerance to offset the additional size of the deformation was caused by heat treatment, for rolling the smaller size seamless steel pipe, the wall thickness tolerance were controlled by the negative control, and outside diameter by the center line of the tolerance.For large-diameter thick-walled seamless steel pipe, diameter tolerance should be accorded with the negative control, and the wall thickness by the tolerance control, using this method can effectively guarantee the size parameters of the steel pipe to meet the ultimate standard.

Analysis of High Temperature Ductility of X70 Pipeline Steel and Application for 2150ASP Slab Continuous Casting Process
In this study, Gleeble1500 thermodynamic simulator was applied to test high temperature ductility characteristics of X70 pipeline steel produced by continuous casters in 2150ASP production line of Angang Steel Co. ,Ltd. Furthermore, the phase structure, topography and rupture mechanism were analyzed. In the practical practice, the continuous casting process simulation software which was developed according to this caster was used to calculate temperature filed and solid phase fraction. Base on the test results of pipeline steel, the cooling algorithm was optimized for guaranteeing surface quality of pipeline steel slab.

16Mn Steel Macrostructure and Texture of EBSD Analysis
To study the effects of niobium on microstructure, the 16Mn steel with niobium was selected, cast and hot rolled sample was checked, and microstructure analysis, EBSD analysis of texture were made. The results showed that the grains of hot rolled 16Mn steel with niobium are relatively small; compared to cast and hot rolled of 16Mn steel, obvious texture exists.The transformation process of cast to the hot state is also the process of concentration of grain orientation into spread grain orientation。

Crack Failure Analysis of a Cylinder Sleeve From a Diesel Engine
A failure analysis was performed on a diesel engine cylinder sleeve. The results indicated that the chemical composition and microstructure are in line with relevant technical standards. According to the macroscopic fracture observation of the cracked cylinder sleeve and analysis on characteristics of cast iron, the crack may be caused by internal stress-induced cold cracking. That keeping at 500 ℃ for two hours was considered to be the best process parameter for stress relief annealing, after optimizing the aging treatment on the cylinder sleeve based on internal stress test. The crack failure of the cylinder sleeve was resolved completely by the revised techniques.

Center Crack Reason Analysis of 27SiMn Continuons Casting Billet
Star central crack causes of 27SiMn continuous casting round billet were analyzed by means of chemical composition analysis, macroexamination, microstructure examination and scanning electron microscopy and X-ray spectrometer. The result shows that the star central crack is the gap formed by oval dendrite under tensile stress in the central of continuous casting billet. These features indicate that insufficient replenishment of liquid metal in the last solidification place causes the cracks in the center.

Common Quality Defects Analysis of SWRH82B Wire Rod
The common surface defects of SWRH82B wire rod were summarized, including overlap, scab, microcrack, scratch and metallurgical defect. The causes were analyzed and prevention measures were proposed. The morphology of the inner defects including central netting cementite, central martensite, and central pipe was analyzed by SEM and OM, as well as the causes and harms; and corresponding solving programs and measures were put forward based on the actual production requirements.

Failure Analysis of Bursted Evaporator Tubes of Boiler
A burst fracture occurred to a hanging tube of boiler evaporator suddenly after 5 years’ operation. Metallurgical testing, chemical analysis, SEM,X-ray diffraction and mechanical properties and other methods were used to analyze the burst hanging tubes of boiler evaporator. The results show that carbon content and mechanical properties were lower than the standard value. Calcium salts and portland scale caused the decarburization of outer surface and overheating microstructure of inner surface. Serious scale also caused high-temperature hydrogen corrosion of the inner surface. The hanging tubes were corroded from 6 mm to 2~3 mm. Therefore, the burst fracture of the hanging tubes of boiler suddenly happened, and a solution is provided.

Cause Analysis on Crack of High Strength Casing Pin
It was found during inspection that there was a crack on the pin of 140ksi high strength casing. It is considered that the crack was rolling crack occurred before quenching in mill based on crack and fracture analysis, metallography, mechanical property test and chemical component check. The crack was still in the casing pin because it was not removed from the mother pipe and was not found later during threading and NDT. In order to prevent such casing with crack from running down well, it was inspected for all the casing in the batch. It is suggested that factory should strengthen quality inspection in the working procedure which is also one of the keys for supervision.

Hommel T8000 Roughness Measuring Instrument Fault Repair
A German productionl ( Hommel ) T8000 surface roughness measuring instrument can not be used after a few years. Here are the main performances: measuring sensor control cannot move around and sensor failed to detect, and the whole machine can not detect automatically. On the basis of the mechanical structure and electrical connection analysis of inspection, the final results showed: the LV scanned the driving box, and because of the internal guide rod rust spots and screw surface pollution, axial movement of the slider impurities of mechanical clamping occurred. In electrical, because the sensor connector pin misalignment leads to abnormal circuit, the sensor does not work and no signal output. After part cleaning up and fueling of mechanics and calibration of sensor connector, the equipment has been restored completely and can detect automatically from start to the end.
