介绍了包钢圆坯连铸机采用结晶器电磁搅拌的应用实践。通过试验确定了合适的结晶器电磁搅拌工艺参数，并以等轴晶率、碳偏析指数等指标，反映出结晶器电磁搅拌对铸坯内部质量具有显著的改善作用。

The application of MEMS in round bloom caster at Baotou Steel was introduced. The suitable parameters of the MEMS are given by the industrial trails. The results show that the MEMS obviously improved the quality of strands by ratio of equiaxial crystal and carbon segregation index.
