Abstract

During production, the structure of 0Cr17Ni7Al steel after the solution treatment was transformed to martensitic structure, resulting in the unqualified tensile strength, yield strength and hardness. It was found that the chemical composition of the steel was controlled at lower limit for cost reduction, which caused that the[Ms]transition point after the solution treatment was higher than the ambient temperature, and the martensitic transformation occurred during the cooling process. By increasing the content of austenite forming elements such as C, Mn, Ni and Cr, the[Ms]transition point was effectively decreased and the problem of lower property after the solution treatment was solved.
