Abstract

By comparing the important KIC test standards at home and abroad, including ASTM E399-17 of the United States and GB/T 4161—2007 of China, the differences in specimen, testing apparatus, testing process, calculation of KQ, validity checking, and data processing of test results specified in these standards are concluded. The results indicate that the differences between ASTM E399-17 and GB/T 4161—2007 mainly reflected in the COD accuracy, fatigue precrack force, loading rate during the stage of loading test, and data processing of test results.
