Abstract：At present， there are different levels of alkali metals and heavy metals over standard phenomenon in the sintering dust of many major steel companies. Many companies return the solid waste to sintering directly， resulting in circulation and accumulation of harmful elements， which will affect the collection efficiency， sinter quality， and the anterograde of blast furnace seriously. The current study proposes a method of recycling electric dust of sintering machine in iron and steel enterprises. a series of methods， including water immersion， magnetic separation， filtration， evaporation and so on， are applied to remove the harmful elements in the sintering dust. A crystallization method of purifying， is developed which can increase the mass percent of KCl from 93.0% to 99.8%， exponentially increase economic value， and provide a new route for recycling the sintering dust of machine head.
