Abstract: Baiyunebo iron ores from two different ore bodies are main raw material for Baotou I&R Co.. For these ores, the chemical composition was analyzed, size distribution was measured,mineral type and agglomeration characteristic at high temperature were studied. The rational technique for optimizing product structure of mine and improving the quality of sinters and pellets is suggested.
