Abstract: In order to monitor the thermal situation of blast furnace stave and to prolong the lifetime of blast furnace, the intelligent simulation technique was introduced to mathematical simulation of blast furnace stave. The intelligent simulation model of blast furnace stave was built by use of the combination of the modelbased mathematical model of heat transfer and the technique of artifical intelligent. Based on the heattransfer model and the data of the test, the relationship of the maximum temperature of hot surface of blast furnace stave and survey points (from point 1 to 5) was explored on the condition with local high temperature in hot surface on cooling stave. The intelligent monitoring model for cooling stave was trained by taking advantage of the experimental data so as to improve the degree of agreement between the model and practical physical process as well. The model can online predict the thermal situation of blast furnace stave.
