Abstract::High-efficiency additive containing MgO flux is consist of active MgO and one glue of vegetal glair . In this paper, the experiment of pelletizing、pre-heating、indurating 、compression strength and the metallurgical property of pellet with high-efficiency additive containing MgO flux instead of bentonite has been determined, From the results obtained, high-efficiency additive containing MgO flux can reduce the reduction swelling of iron ore pellet, improving it’s high-temperature softening property, it is feasible that high-efficiency additive containing MgO flux to the iron ore pellet by technological view, the appropriate proportion is 3%.
