Abstract:Aiming at the main factors causing thickness fluctuation of hot strip, this paper presents a Q prediction feedforward AGC strategy considering the influence of plasticity coefficient changes. Gap compensation algorithm of feedforward AGC is derived based on P-H diagram, and a strip tracing scheme between stands is given taking into account the varitation of the loop,and the linear method of plasticity coefficient Q prediction is put forward。The site application results show that the strategy of Q prediction feedforward AGC has remarkable effect on decreasing thickness deviation of hot strip.
