Application of Two Dimensional Method to Blast Furnace Hearth Erosion Modelling

Abstract：According to the heat conduction principle in the solid,one and two dimensional methods are introduced, and the difference between two methods for calculating blast furnace hearth erosion is discussed. The result indicates that one dimensional method has obvious shortcomings and two dimensional method has higher precision than that of one dimensional method. The model based on two dimentional method was used to diagnose erosion of several blast furnace bottom and hearth. The online analysis system of BISG NO.2 blast furnace hearth erosion was established based on two dimensional method.
