Abstract:High loads, complicated working conditions, and polytropic rolling state are the main character of Heavy Plate Mill. Dynamic analysis of its working state is not very popular in academic circles, especially consider it coupled with roll gap, so it is necessary to be experimentally measured and analyzed according to the site actual conditions. This paper is based on the field measurement of Heavy Plate Mill. Roll gap coupling feature is analyzed, system dynamics model is established and torsional vibration dynamic characteristics of the main drive system are calculated in the paper which has important reference significance.
