Abstract:This paper deals with the research work about the axial moving velocity adjustment, the relationship between the requirements for axial adjustment and its related parameters in 1450 UC mill. According to theoretical analysis and practical study, the results obtained are as follows: take the intermediate rolls as the axial shift, in the process of rolling, under the condition of pre-displacement friction of reset. It is practical to make the roll move along axial direction, and determine as well as the relationship between the speed of axial adjustment and radial force and rolling speed
