Abstract:Plane strain thermosimulation technology is a kind of laboratory simulation technology which is widely used in the field of plastic processing. It is widely applied to measure deformation resistance of metals and analyze flow state of metals.It is the best method for simulating hot rolling. In order to study plane strain technology generally, based on theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and physical simulation,the effect of rigid end, friction, specimen geometry and neutral offset on stress state and metal flow were studied in the plane strain compression. The results show that each factor has clear influence on flow of metal and reliability of test result.
