Abstract: The controling technology and level of chemical compositions for IF steel in converter steelmaking process, refining process and continuous casting was introduced. the extradeep drawing IF4 steel’s control technology of carbon content was analyzed detailedly which could be guided the manufacture of extradeep drawing IF steel. The average carbon content was reduce to 18×10-6 in final product, the metallurgical effect was obtained obviously.
