Abstract:The inclusion of die Steel H13 produced with EAF-LF-VD-MC-ESR process was studied systematically by sampling in various steps in the production and with multiple analyzing techniques investigating the shape, size, quantity and component of inclusions, slime method investigating the contents of large-sized inclusions and conventional chemical methods analyzing the chemical compounds of steel as well as slag. Simultaneously, the precipitation of inclusion TiN and VC separation were theoretically analyzed, and control measures for precipitation of inclusions TiN and VC were proposed in the production process.
