Abstract:Ensuring the accuracy of straightening, the aim of improving the roll-type was to make the two polishing bands of the tube which were created by the concave roll convergence smoothly, and to reduce the gap and overlap between two polishing sections. Based on the polishing principle of the concave roll to the pipe, the structure of the concave roll was improved through increasing the polishing section, and the mathematical model of calculating the polishing section length was developed. After the following three procedures of attempting FEM calculation, the roll-type correction and the further FEM calculation, the results prove that after the correction of the roll-type improvement, with the precondition of high straightening accuracy, the overlap of the two polishing bands in tube surface created by concave roll reduces obviously, the value of plastic strain reduces from 0.03-0.08 to 0.03-0.05.
