Abstract:The pilot test was carried out in a multi-tube rotary type coal moisture control equipment. Coal drying medium is flue gas from the coke oven. The influences of the flue gas consumption, the flue gas temperature, rotational speed of drum and coal humidity on coal drying results were investigated, respectively. The results show that the coal humidity can decrease to 6.7% after coal moisture control on the conditions of flue gas consumption 2000m3 per ton coal, flue gas temperature 245℃, motor frequency of the drum 40Hz and initial coal humidity 12%. It can get the best results and satisfy the coal humidity requirements of coke produce.
