Hot deformation behavior of super austenitic stainless steel

Abstract:In order to study the high temperature deformation behavior of super austenitic stainless steel Cr20Ni24Mo6N,isothermal thermal compression test was carried out by Gleeble thermal simulation test machine,and the processing map of the alloy was established.The results show that the flow stress curves of Cr20Ni24Mo6N show the typical characteristics of “Working Hardening+Dynamic Recrystallization Softening”when the deformation temperature is 1 000-1 200 ℃. The hot deformation activation energy is 678.656 kJ/mol. Through the comprehensive analysis of the microstructure and the processing map,the suitable hot working process windows of Cr20Ni24Mo6N superaustenitic stainless steel is obtained,which the strain rate is 10 s-1,the strain is about 0.5-0.8 and the temperature is about 1 150-1 200 ℃.
