Abstract:Two cooling processes of ring and vertical tank used in the sintering system are introduced,exergy analysis was made for each subsystem of sintering procedure through mathematical model of exergy calculation,and the effect of waste heat recovery in two cooling processes was analyzed. The results show that the vertical tank cooling process can greatly increase the waste heat recovery efficiency of sinter,and exergy efficiency can reach 75.39%,almost 20% higher than that of exergy efficiency of ring cooling process. The circulation hot waste gas outlet temperature of vertical tank cooling process increased by nearly 230 ℃ than the ring cooling process. Waste heat was recovered by two cooling processes,and then entered into waste heat boiler to produce steam,and the vertical tank cooling process can produce up to 3 times as much steam as the ring cooling process.
