Abstract： In order to improve the insulation effect of the large cylinder induction heating device，a large cylinder induction heating resistor insulation device was designed. In order to improve the induction heating effect of large cylinder，the induction heating process route of large cylinder is studied by considering the Curie point effect of the metal during the induction heating，and an electromagnetic-thermal-stress coupling mathematical model of the large cylinder is established. The effect of the large cylinder induction heating and resistance insulation，the traditional heating process and the heating effect under the induction heating process considering Curie point effect are analyzed based on the finite element method. The results show that the double design of the induction heating resistor insulation device and the induction heating route considering the Curie point effect greatly shortens the thermal insulation time of the large cylinder at the high temperature stage. The maximum equivalent stress of the inner and outer surfaces of the large cylinder during heating is greatly reduced， and the heat treatment effect of the large cylinder is improved.
