Abstract Considering the influence of alloying elements on microstructure and properties of the steel,the composition of low cost low cost alloying components which suit ultralow carbon bainite Hbeam was designed.The properties of this steel were better than expected by adoption of controlrolling and air cooling.The microstructure and properties of the stecl were studied under different conditions of heating temperature,deformation amount in nonrecrystallization zone and finish rolling temperature.
