Abstract:The production of multi-grade and multi-section special steel on the same production line for continuous casting and rolling of iron and steel seriously affects the stability of equipment and technology, making it difficult to fundamentally improve the internal quality of the slab. Based on this, a new continuous casting technology is proposed. This new special steel continuous casting technology can meet the requirements of providing various specifications of high-quality billets to different steel rolling production lines. The product specification range is wide. It can meet the requirements of high compression ratio of high-quality steel and ensure the minimum deformation required by the structure and mechanical properties of the final product. The low-power quality of the billet produced by the new technology is greatly improved, the defects of "shrinkage cavity" and "central porosity" caused by the inherent "small ingot structure" of the billet are eliminated, and the central carbon segregation is also improved.
