Abstract To ensure that a steam pipeline reconstructing project of slab continuous casting machine can proceed smoothly, the technician decided to start a local structure rebuilding for the oscillation table of slab caster mold. While, there are a large number of pipelines and supporting plates,and the oscillation structure is complex structure, which be made of thick plates welded together. The oscillation table has been analysised by 3D finite element stress analysis method, the results of the analysis has give a good warrant to provide adequate theory judgement based on the continuous casting machine to ensure production safety.
