Abstract In order to meet the needs of production of subsequent Wide Strip Rolling, to improve and make the equipments to have a reliable guarantee of the accuracy, cooperating with CCTEC, Laiwu steel designed and implemented No.2 slab cast plant high efficiently. By reforming and improving the mould, secondary cooling system, oscillator and so on, the production of the single slab caster has reached two million ton per year.
