Abstract CAD/CAE technology is an important product development technique. Relying on the design of continuous caster tundish, the important role of the CAD / CAE technology was discussed in the design process, such as the collision, interference checking, strength stiffness calculation and tundish flow field analysis. The safe, reliable, and beautiful structure functional tundish meeting the production needs can be obtained based on CAD/CAE technology.
