Abstract By means of the investigation and analysis on the surface defect of medium plate, regulatory measures were taken on the stable mould water, segment control accuracy, slab corner temperature, transverse rolling, heating temperature and cleaning scarfing, etc. The ratio of judgement-changing has been controlled evidently.
