Research status and prospect of Fe-Mn-Al-C lightweight high strength steel

Abstract

Fe-Mn-Al-C lightweight steel,with its advantages of low density,superior strength and plasticity,is highly in line with the demands of automobile and other industries on weight reduction,processability and safety of steel,and has great potential on its application. However,the research results of the above theories about lightweight steel preparation,processing and service are not consistent,which seriously restricts the development and application of light steel. Therefore,focusing on the austenite effect mechanism of Fe-Mn-Al-C lightweight steel,firstly,the effect of lightweight steel composition and thermomechanical towards the stability of austenite was compared. Secondly,the characteristics of austenite accommodated dislocation movement and coordinated deformation mechanism relating to strengthening and toughening based on the research of TWIP steel was analyzed. Then,according to the effect mechanism of austenite steel,the mechanical properties of light steel under different loads were analyzed. Finally,the existing research was summarized,and the research prospect of Fe-Mn-Al-C series lightweight high strength steel which aims to provide reference for more research was promoted.
