Abstract

The effect of solution temperature between 7001050 ℃ on the grain size, austenite fraction and mechanical properties of Custom 465 aged at 510 ℃ was researched. Fracture surface of notch impact specimens were analyzed with SEM. The results show that the best solution temperature range is from 900 ℃ to 950 ℃. The austenite in the steel after aging is mainly reverted austenite.

Key words

solution temperature / reverted austenite / maraging stainless steel
