Abstract

Blast furnace smelting technology has been developing and improving continuously and specific intensification technology for smelting vanadiumbearing titanomagnetite was developed with the progress of material preparation and the improvement of equipment since Pangang went into production thirty years ago. Technicoeconomic indexes of BF operation were enhanced remarkably. The utilization coefficient exceeds 2.5 t/(m3·d) on the condition that the burden grade is only 50%.
