Abstract

A spray tower was built, and experiment was carried out on desulfurization of sintering flue gas with coking wastewater. Factors as inlet SO2 concentration of sintering flue gas, pH values of coking wastewater and temperature were studied to find the impacts on desulfurization. The outlet SO2 concentration was 118 mg/m3, and desulphurization efficiency was 97% when the inlet SO2 concentration was 4000 mg/m3, temperature was 2 ℃, and pH values of coking wastewater was 9.0. The desulphurization rate and removed sulphur increased with the inlet SO2 concentration.Desulphurization efficiency can be improved with decrease of pH value of coking wastewater and increase of temperature.
