Based on project of electric steel strip shape optimization control research ,the paper totally study affective factor on deformation of roller ,hot contour ,wear curve of hot-rolling，cold-rolling and single stand mill ,design out roll profile optimization curve by collection of work condition data , numerical value simulation calculate and test of industrial big production, meet need of crown shape optimum strategy of difference mill type ,resolve problem of electric steel edge drop control. New design roll profile was proved that it is advanced in decrease electric steel edge drop control in-country.
