Abstract:
The technology of self-reforming of coke oven gas was studied by thermodynamics calculation of CH4-H2-CO-H2O-CO2-O2 system. The results show that higher temperature, lower pressure and higher CH4 content are advantage for the self-reforming of COG. With the reforming conditions of 850-900 ℃, 0.3 MPa and 14% oxygen, the H2 content of equilibrium system can be enhanced from 60% to 71.5% and 8% to 23.1% for CO. H2+CO/ H2O+CO2+H2+CO of equilibrium system is 97.2% and the addition of equilibrium quantity of reducing gas is 33%.
