GCr15钢轴承套圈开裂原因分析

Analysis on Cause for Cracking of GCr15 Steel Bearing Ring

  • 摘要: 尺寸为φ105 mm×21 mm的GCr15钢轴承套圈坯料油淬后发现开裂。对开裂的轴承套圈坯料进行化学成分分析、硬度测试和金相检验,以揭示其开裂的原因。结果表明:开裂的轴承套圈坯料化学成分、硬度和显微组织均符合技术要求,但坯料表面有贯穿裂纹,且裂纹周围和端部均有脱碳现象,说明裂纹是锻造过程中产生的。该轴承套圈坯料开裂由锻造裂纹所致。

     

    Abstract: Bearing ring blank 105 mm in diameter by 21 mm thick,made from GCr15 steel,was found cracking after oil quenching. The chemical composition analysis,hardness test and metallographic examination were performed on the cracked bearing ring blank for the purpose of revealing the cause of its cracking. The results showed that the chemical composition,hardness and microstructure of the cracked bearing ring blank all conformed with the specification,however,the through crack appeared on the blank surface,and the decarburization appeared around the crack and at the end of the crack,indicating that the crack emanated from forging. The cracking of the bearing ring blank was traced to forge crack.
