Abstract:The results of Gleeble thermal simulation test show that the grain boundary allotriomorphic ferrites of low carbon Mn bainitic steel was refined and toughness improved obviously with decreasing of deformation temperature. Compared with nonNb bearing Mn bainitic steel, the microstructure of Nb microalloyed Mn bainitic steel was more refined. The results of laboratory test show that the toughness of Nb microalloyed Mn bainitic steel can be improved more than that of nonNb bearing steel and it is prospective for industrialization.
