Abstract:The influence of boronbearing iron concentrate as additives on sinter quality under the production condition of the iron making plant of BX STEEL was investigated. The experiments show that baronbearing iron concentrate is an excellent additive to increase sinter strength, reduce sinter powdering rate, improve sinter grain composition and reductibility, without obvious effect on sinter TFe content.
