Abstract:Abstract:The rolling force and energy calculation equition for 42CrMo steel was carried out by practically measured technical parameters and theoretical math model and based on the analysis of the process and equipment abilities in the Alloy Bars Factory, Special Steel Brach,BaoSteel Co.,Ltd. The optimized technology was further determined for 42CrMo steel rolling with cooling. Satisfing the condition of mills and motors abilities, the structural properties and surface quality of the rolled goods, the heating temperature of 42CrMo steel was lowered from 1150刟C to 1030刟C, the total energy consumption was reduce by 6.90%. The target of energy saving was realized.
