Abstract:By expressing the equipment potential, with direct rolling at austenite recrystallization zone and fast cooling process, a new lowcost CMn Q345 series heavy plate of 6085 mm in thickness were produced in some 4300 mm wide and heavy plate mill, the Zdirection properties are meet with Z35. The test results show that the new technology can short 2 min rolling time and improve the yield of mill, it’s also promote iron and steel industry’s developing continuously.
