Abstract:Based on the specifics of FTSR(flexible thin slab rolling), the chemical composition and rolling technology of BG510L steel were investigated. Experimental results show that the ferrite grain size of BG510L steel produced by FTSR was finer, the grain size of austenite was obviously refined after R1 rolling and mixed grains were not observed.So FTSR can produce steels of higher quality.
