Abstract:By optimal designing of experiments, according to the raw material conditions at Ansteel, the sintering pot tests of iron ore fines blended with imported ore fines containing medium crystal water were done in the lab. The influence of iron ore fines proportion on major technicalandeconomic indexes was investigated. The results show that by adjusting fuel rate, the sintering productivity can be ensured within the proportions of imported iron ore fines 10%30%. With optimization, the optimal proportion of imported iron ore fines is 15%, fuel rate is 5.4%5.5% correspondingly. The proposed proportions of iron ore fines and fuel rate were approved by practice.
