Abstract:Texture evolution of nonoriented electrical steel produced by CSP technology in cold rolling and annealing process was investigated by using of orientation distribution function (ODF) determination. The results show that the texture intensity in hot rolled nonoriented electrical steel strip decreases after cold rolling and annealing. The major orientation fibres in cold rolled electrical steel strip remain the same as in hot rolled strip, along <011>. The textures of annealed strip distribute uniformly. The grain orientation of steel strips turns from α fibre texture to γ fibre texture during cold rolling. The influence of (Si+Al) content on texture in cold rolled and annealed steel inclines to be weaker, with (Si+Al) content increasing from 1.0% to 1.5%.
