Abstract:The primary strengthening factors of BOFLFCSPproduced matrix plate for coldrolled products were analysed systematically.Grain refining strengthening is the main factor for such product. Yield strength is correspondingly related to grain size; Through optimization of steel making process,ladle furnace refining and casting process, the average w[Si] in liquid steel was less than 0.02%, and w[N] was less than 30×10-6. The control rolling and cooling was used to control dynamic recrystallization and grain growth,beginning and finishing temperature and coiling temperature are three important parameters that affect the strength of product. The strength of matrix plate for coldrolled products was decreased significantly through specific measures.
