Abstract:LDLFVDCC was adopted to produce the ultra low oxygen spring steel 60Si2MnA, the strong deoxidation was carried out by aluminium, and high basicity and low oxidizing slag was made during tapping to intensify refining. Nonmetallic inclusions in molten steel were studied. The origins of MgO and CaO in inclusions were discussed. Figure of isoao and iso[Si] was deduced under the condition of equilibrium between steel and slag.
