Abstract:Through the experiment indicated that, under the condition of air cooling ,we can't get large number of fine crystallittes on the surface of the vibrating and cooling bar;and under the condition of water cooling the vibrating and cooling bar would create solidified shell because the subcooling between the vibrating and conling bar and the liquid of steel. Under the condition of aerosol cooling by heat transfer,we can get 26℃ subcooling under the aerosol cooling conditions of gas flow in 65 m3/h, water quantity of humidifying 3kg/h,large number of fine crystallittes are formed on the surface of the vibrating and cooling bar.the crystallittes are ejected to molten continuously and serves as nucleus of equiaxed grain uring solidification,and promote slab solidification uniformity.
