Work State of Bag Dusting System Improved on Chenggang 2500m3 BF

Abstract:The gas dusting system of Chenggang BF was transformed from wet dusting to dry dusting through technology improvement and production experience. The gravity scrubber was cancelled in the dry dusting process of 2500m3 BF, and the single bag scrubber was installed for dusting, which was a momentous breakthrough in ironmaking technique. Results show that after cancelling the gravity scrubber, the big particle entering into the bag scrubber increases which enhances bag dusting efficiency. The pressure difference between inlet and outlet decreases, and the pressure loss of gas flowing through the bag scrubber reduces. In addition, the gas temperature of bag inlet rises, being in favor of the regular operation of the bag scrubber.
